Men’s Tennis Collects National, Regional Honors from ITA


TEMPE, Ariz.— The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced a number of postseason honors this week, including major region awards as well as All-America accolades. The Greyhound men’s team garnered a handful of year-end honors from the organization, including All-America laurels for Zac Faveri and Tom Zeuch.

Faveri and Zeuch earned All-America status as a pair, finishing in the top 10 of the final ITA DII doubles rankings. Each of the top-20 ranked singles players also garnered All-America accolades.

Additionally, the ITA announced its end-of-year regional awards, with two Grayhounds earning recognition among the Midwest’s best. Faveri was dubbed the ITA Midwest Region Most Improved Senior, while Yoann Viel was voted the region’s ITA Senior Player of the Year.
