We are now set for the highly anticipated official visit weekend for the elite five-star Isidore Newman quarterback Arch Manning with second-year head coach Steve Sarkisian, quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee, and the Texas football program. On June 17, a multi-day official visit for Arch is expected to begin in Austin that should carry through June 19.
Arch is set to take his third official visit this month with Sark, Milwee, and the Longhorns. The other two official visits he took came with the Georgia Bulldogs (June 3) and Alabama Crimson Tide (June 10).
At the moment, it appears that Texas and Georgia are the top two schools in the running to land the commitment of Arch. This weekend could be a huge deciding factor in this Manning recruitment, especially if there’s a summer decision timeline planned for the elite Louisiana quarterback.
There will be some other big-time visitors on campus for Sark and the Longhorns this weekend. But the biggest is without a doubt Arch. In fact, Sark and his staff built this visitor list around the idea that they can show the type of supporting cast that Arch would have at the skill position and the defensive side of the ball.
That’s a big reason why the Longhorns are also hosting the likes of three-star Newman tight end Will Randle, four-star Langham Creek wide receiver Jaquaize Pettaway, four-star Temple wide receiver Mikal Harrison-Pilot, etc. for official visits simultaneous to Arch this weekend.
With this in mind, here’s a look at some of the live updates for Arch as the official visit gets underway starting on June 17 with the Longhorns.
