This summer don’t get stuck inside-venture out and enjoy the fresh air and beauty of Utah while also helping young people in your community.

By purchasing the Utah PGA Golf Pass, you can explore Utah by playing golf at courses throughout the state while saving money and helping youths.

The Utah Section PGA is one of 41 sections that make up the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) of America. The local section strives to be “a leader in promoting the enjoyment of and involvement in the game of golf.”

According to the Utah PGA website, “The Utah Section PGA seeks to be a strong and prominent organization within the golf community by providing quality programs and services to both PGA Members and others.”

The Utah PGA Golf Pass is one of the ways the Utah Section is trying to get both experienced PGA members and novice golfers alike, to grow their love of the game. By purchasing the golf pass, either in the form of a physical booklet or a digital version, you gain access to courses throughout the state, thousands of dollars worth of savings, and free rounds of golf. Plus, you support the junior golfers in your community.

Save money

When you purchase the Utah PGA Digital Golf Pass you will receive six free rounds of golf and over $2,000 in savings from 77 of Utah’s best golf courses. The savings include deals on things like a bucket of balls, rounds of golf, and discounts on cart and green fees. Using the Utah PGA Digital version of the golf pass can also put you on the Utah PGA Digital Golf Pass Leaderboard, where you can win prizes just by playing golf.

The Utah PGA Digital Golf Pass Leaderboard is sponsored by KSL.com and Goldenwest Credit Union and is a way of adding more fun and an element of friendly competition to the traditional Utah PGA Golf Pass. The Leaderboard includes some exciting incentives for placing in the top eight, and just for playing the qualifying courses. After Oct. 31, the top eight leaderboard participants will be awarded the following prizes*:

1st Place: gold jacket, trophy, and a foursome at Promontory

2nd Place: foursome at Hidden Valley

3rd Place: foursome at Alpine CC

4th Place: foursome at Valley View

5th Place: foursome at Bountiful Ridge

6th Place: foursome at Wasatch State Park

7th Place: foursome at Soldier Hollow

8th Place: foursome at Glenmoor.

The best part is to participate in the leaderboard you just need to play some golf! When you play a round of golf and use your Utah PGA Digital Golf Pass any qualifying redemptions (rounds of golf played) will automatically be logged to improve your rank on the leaderboard. You can even check your standing on the Leaderboard anytime online by clicking the Leaderboard link (Star Icon) from the bottom navigation panel in your Golf Pass, or by clicking here if you are not a Golf Pass holder.

Even if you don’t end up placing on the leaderboard you are still eligible for giveaways throughout the season and will be sent free gifts just for playing more courses. For the golf pass to keep track of the courses played, you need to make sure location services are on and that your golf pass is given permission to use them so that we can verify your qualifying redemptions.

The Utah PGA Junior Series was created as a program for junior golfers of any age. From kids as young as 4 years old who have never held a golf club, to high school players who are ready for competition and everyone in between.
