What do you want to do after graduation and why? I want to go to dental school to become a dentist because I love to interact with people, be creative, and I love science!

Why did you choose Le Moyne? Le Moyne had such a great sense of community when I came to visit, so I knew I wanted to come here. Also, the small class sizes allow me to form a more personal connection with my professors.

What would you tell somebody who is considering coming to Le Moyne? I would suggest taking a couple more tours and visits if they could to make sure this is the place for them. I would also encourage them to get in touch with admissions or coaches with any questions.

If you could participate in another event, which event would you choose and why? I am more of a sprinter than a distance swimmer, so it would be fun to be a distance swimmer for a day!

If you could choose any opponent for Le Moyne to play that is not currently on the schedule, who would you choose and why? I would love to face SUNY Geneseo during the season. We already see them at the Ithaca Bomber invitational, but I think we should have a dual meet against them. They’re a great team and would push us to perform better.

Favorite class at Le Moyne and why? My favorite class at Le Moyne was my ENG-210 Major Authors class on Stanley Kubrick. It was very interactive, and interesting to see how differently the novels were than the movies based on them. I earned such an appreciation for Kubrick’s style and my writing skills greatly improved.

Hardest class at Le Moyne? The hardest class I’ve taken at Le Moyne was Gen Bio 2 because it was a lot of material in a short period of time, but it got me into great study habits and I did very well in the class.

Favorite professor at Le Moyne and why? My favorite Professor was Dr. Bailey in the Philosophy department. I had him for Intro to Philosophy and he made the class so much fun! He was very interactive, encouraged us to think deeply, analyze difficult texts and be concise writers.

Favorite form of social media and why? My favorite form of social media is probably Instagram because I can see pictures of what my friends and family are doing.

Favorite person to follow on social media and why? My favorite person to follow on Instagram is my cousin Angelo. He’s a photographer and posts beautiful pictures that I always enjoy seeing.

If you could have dinner with any 4 people at Le Moyne who would you choose and why? I would love to have dinner with Dr. Le Mura, my coach, Adam, Dr. Page, and Allison Farrell. All of these people are so kind and easy to talk to. I think it would be a lovely dinner.

Favorite sport to follow at Le Moyne outside of yours and why? I love watching baseball at Le Moyne! My family is a baseball family and I have watched the Yankees with them my whole life.

If you didn’t play your sport at Le Moyne, what sport would you play and why? I would probably try out for the dance team. I used to dance when I was younger and I still love to do it. I would be most excited to tap again!

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the pool? Classic by MKTO

What is your dream vacation? Italy

What is the best thing about being in the Northeast-10 Conference? There are great teams in the NE-10 Conference, and I love the atmosphere it has.

Favorite quote from your coach: “You don’t need to be perfect”

One word to describe a Le Moyne swimmer: Determined

Who will be the surprise member on your team in 2022-23 and why? I believe that the surprise member will be Taylor McFadden. She always works hard at practice, in and out of the pool, and I believe she’s going to crush it this season.

What member epitomizes Le Moyne swimming and diving and why? I believe Hannah Kellogg epitomizes the Le Moyne swim team because she always pushes herself at practice and at meets and is always trying to improve. Her dedication is unmatched, and she brings a great attitude to the pool everyday.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on your team in 2022-23? Caitlyn Longway

What are you most looking forward to in 2022-23? I’m most looking forward to moving back on to campus to be with my friends.
