IC Markets has partnered with World Rugby in order to become a Global Partner for the Rugby World Cup Sevens, which takes place in Cape Town, South Africa from 9-11 September 2022.
The sponsorship deal will come as an opportunity for the leading Forex CFD broker as its brand will benefit from high exposure with the masses since an estimated 165,000 fans are expected to travel to South Africa for the event.
The sponsorship deal will include IC Markets’ branding and ownership of the game statistics during the matches.
The Rugby World Cup Sevens will take on a festival atmosphere on a global scale with a three-day carnival of high-octane rugby sevens action marking the reopening of South Africa to tourism following the pandemic.
Rugby World Cup Sevens will be played over three days in iconic Cape Town and feature 24 men’s and 16 women’s teams from around the world. IC Markets joins DHL, Castle Lite, FNB, and TUDOR as a Global Partner.
