DURANT, Okla. — D’Nari Mills had 13 kills and 14 digs as Southeastern Oklahoma State snapped a 10-match losing streak with 25-22, 17-25, 25-17, 25-19, against Austin College in non-conference action at Bloomer Sullivan High school.

Lexi Davila added 11 kills, Jessica Hardin finished with 10 kills and four blocks, McKenzie Turkoly handed out 26 assists, Ruthie Forson chipped in with 14 assists, Peyton Kriegel collected 19 digs and Amaya Constantino chipped in 10 digs for the Savage Storm (2- 12).

Jazmyn Kizziar put down 10 kills, Olivia Linton added seven kills, Chloe Miller collected 15 digs, Riley Abernethy totaled nine digs and four kills, Madison Manning led handed out 16 assists to go with six digs, and Brianne Tseng contributed 14 assists and nine digs for Austin College (6-6).

IRVING — The Austin College women’s soccer team fell, 2-0, at the University of Dallas in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The ‘Roos (0-4-1, 0-2) had four shot attempts in the first half and five overall, but were only able to put two on target.

Kenedie Lane made seven saves for Austin College, which plays at Southwestern on Friday night.

The Crusaders (3-3, 2-0) scored in each half. Nevaeh Coronado had a goal in the 11th minute and Britney Zapata ended the scoring in the 69th minute.

University of the Ozarks 2, Austin College 1

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. — The Austin College men’s soccer scored first but a pair of second-half goals for the University of Ozarks lifted the Eagles past the ‘Roos, 2-1, in non-conference action.

The match was scoreless until the 61st minute, when Louis Catchpole headed home an assist from Logan Newman to put the ‘Roos (1-5-1) ahead.

The lead was short-lived as Ozarks (5-0-2) tied things up a minute later, and then took the lead in the 66th minute on a goal by Francisco Horta.

Both teams finished with eight shot attempts. Connor Tullis made four saves for Austin College, which plays at Texas Lutheran on Friday night.

Cade Griffith scored six goals as the Austin College men’s water polo team closes its Invitational with a 12-8 victory against Washington & Jefferson.

Max Wade added two goals while Andrew Galt also scored and Alan Rosenberg made nine blocks for the ‘Roos (4-5), who are off until competing in the Cal Baptist Invite starting on Oct. 7.
