Camden County field hockey roundup for Wednesday Sept. 28: Triton triumphs


Aurelia McManis and Olivia Broome each scored four goals and added an assist to kick Triton to a 10-0 win over Deptford in Runnemede.

Sofia Morris and Rylee Shappell chipped in a goal and two assists apiece in the victory.

Addison McManis stopped the only shot she faced to record the shutout as Triton raised its record to 6-1.

Sam Huminski made seven saves for Deptford (0-6).

Moorestown 5, Bishop Eustace 3

Sydney Kowalczyk scored a pair of goals and added an assist to help Moorestown, No. 8 in the NJ.com Top 20, defeated Bishop Eustace 5-3 in Moorestown.

Izzy Leese scored and collected three assists for Moorestown, which built a 5-1 lead through three quarters and held on to improve to 6-3.

Ava Tilger added a goal and an assist in the win.

Blaire Sparks scored one goal and assisted on another for Bishop Eustace (2-4).

Shawnee 7, Cherry Hill East 0

Angie Cooker scored her fourth and fifth goals of the season to lead Shawnee to a 7-0 win over Cherry Hill East in Medford.

Abby Davidson added a goal and an assist, Harper Perry chipped in two assists and Quinlyn Moll was credited with the shutout to help Shawnee improve to 4-3.

Liz Hind made 10 saves for Cherry Hill East (2-6).

Cherokee 4, Cherry Hill West 0

Brooke Brown scored her third goal of the season and set up another goal as Cherokee snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-0 win over Cherry Hill West in Cherry Hill.

Oliva Selverian, Erin St. John and Laney Errickson also scored and Ellie Gipe had two assists to help Cherokee improve to 3-5.

Erin O’Brien made three saves to earn the shutout.

Rebecca Armstrong stopped six shots for Cherry Hill West (3-5).

Seneca 5, Paul VI 0

Eva Julius and Maddie Stillwell each found the cage twice to kick Seneca to a 5-0 win over Paul VI in Tabernacle.

Addison Rivera collected three assists and Kelsey Besser recorded the shutout with five saves as Seneca improved to 3-5.

Kapri Jackson stopped 18 shots for Paul VI (2-3).

Schalick 7, Overbrook 0

Korin Robbins scored a hat trick to kick Schalick to a 7-0 win over Overbrook in Pine Hill.

Phoebe Alward added a goal and two assists and Nigel Gilligan made four saves to earn the shutout as Schalick raised his record to 4-3-1.

Alese Smith turned away eight shots for Overbrook (2-6).
